Hitstick 4 Game Review

Hitstick 4 offers a great challenge to the fans of shooter games such as Splinter Cell, Call of Duty, and for the older among us, Medal of Honor. Hitstick 4 puts you in control of a Hit man tasked with all sorts of shady deeds. You get two weapons to use during each level and three objectives per level.
The first level of Hitstick 4 tasks you with eliminating a fat ass mob boss who is in a spa of some sort. His cronies are scattered throughout the spa and you must also eliminate them in order to complete the level. The third of objective is to escape from the spa.
The first level took a long while to figure out. I will not give too much away (I will leave that for the built-in walkthrough) but I will say that a disguise needs to be found and used. After you grab your disguise, the spa security guards (who disappointingly do not tool around on Segways) will not see you as the threat that you are and open fire on you.
Hitstick 4 has a pretty basic setup. In the beginning, the game briefs you on your objectives and shown pictures so that you may have a clue as to what you are doing. After the briefing, you choose your weapons. You may choose two different weapons for each level. Initially, the weapons available are the M16, a Beretta, an AK-47, a shotgun, and an Uzi. A weapon called Dragonov is unavailable in the beginning levels.
Game play in Hitstick 4 is easy enough. You move around by clicking on different arrows on the floor that take you to different rooms in the level. Control shooting by clicking on the holster panel in the top right-hand corner of the screen and choosing which of your weapons you want to use. Aim with the mouse and fire your gun with the left mouse button. When you run out of ammunition, press the spacebar and you reload. Throughout the level, it is necessary to obtain various items to obtain your objective. Simply click on them to pick them up. They are used automatically when they can be.
Hitstick 4 offers a great challenge for lovers of simple shooters. The game is genuinely challenging and can get frustrating; do not let it get to that point. You will consult the walkthrough, but that is OK. The game is still fun and challenging even if you know how to do it. But please, done be stupid and use all the cheats included with said walkthrough. You will have more fun without them. Play Hitstick 4 whenever Assassin comes on TV for an authentic Rambo feel.
