Hold the Line Game Review

Hold the Line is nothing if awesome. The game is a quick-paced, fun shooter with plenty of levels and plenty of challenges. Consisting of three playable modes (easy, normal, and hard) and dozens of levels to shoot through, Hold the Line can keep the procrastinator inside of us happy right up until the day that project is due.
Bandana and Botox Rock!
You control Rambo Stick. (He wears a bandana and a bad Botox job. Thus, Rambo Stick.) You are behind a pile of sand bags and must defend them from the advancing army of enemy sticks who are, of course, bandana and Botox-less. To start, you have a basic machine gun. The gun is effective enough, but is prone to overheat easily and must cool down for a few seconds if fired too often.
The basic enemy that you must defeat is the standard jackass with a knife. Don’t worry, enemies can’t kill you per se, they can just destroy your defenses and cross the line that you must hold. These enemies die within a few shots. The stronger enemies are just idiots with a machine gun that do not fire; these take a few more shots to kill. As the levels progress, the enemies gain vehicles, but that is not until much later.
You can purchase weapon upgrades from the shop between levels. You gain coins by killing the enemy; one enemy killed equals one hundred coins in the kitty. Weapon upgrades include automatic sniper rifles, nail guns, and a death ray that “does exactly what you think it does.” The automatic sniper destroys enemies with one or two shots to the head. The nail gun is about the same in terms of power as the basic weapon, but it does not overheat as rapidly.
Go Berserk Online!
Another great aspect of this game is the Berserk Mode. Berserk Mode shakes the screen and gives Rambo Stick a red face. It also allows you to kill enemy Sticks in far fewer shots than usual. Berserk Mode can be accessed only once per day. It is recommended that you save it until the higher levels; it is a waste to use it on level one or two.
Hold the Line is fantastic, standout flash game. It has the addictiveness, the easy-to-learn controls, and the challenge needed to give a great, fun experience. Being Rambo Stick is a great time. Shooting enemy Sticks and striving to obtain new weapons is what this game is all about. A great basic shooter and a fabulous time killer, Hold the Line gives the gamer a fun time and plenty of challenge to keep him up.
