Prison Sniper puts you in the guard tower of Stick Man Alcatraz. There has been a mass breakout! Your duty is to prevent as many prisoners as you can from escaping. You must shoot all that you see and show no mercy. You will receive some back up, but not much. So start firing as fast as you can; you will need your speed!
Kill the Prisoners!
Prison Sniper gives you one simple task: kill as many escaping prisoners as you possibly can. There is no time limit, but they keep coming! You are armed with a basic rifle to begin with at the beginning, but you unlock new weapons with each level you defeat. The only difference between weapons is their ammunition capacity. There are no differences in accuracy, damage dealt, or rate of fire. Weapons range from a basic submachine gun to a large, 60-round machinegun. Do not worry if you develop an attachment to one weapon like that blanket you have had since you were three; you keep all guns from previous levels.
The Sticks escape through several different holes that they have blown open using homemade bombs. You must shoot them before they get to the holes. You can only let five prisoners escape total, so keep track of how many have slipped through your net! (I know, I know nothing slips past yours!) Prison guards rush out into the yard after the few levels to try to help you contain the breakout. Be careful not to shoot them. If you shoot more than two guards, the warden is going to ask for your badge.
Awesome No Think Entertainment
Strategy and balance is crucial in Prison Sniper. It is nearly impossible to allow no prisoners to escape. You must balance the amount of prisoners escaped and the amount you can actually kill. Sometimes it is best to let one slip out and other times it is not. The guards that try to help you can also be used to your advantage. You can corral the prisoners with your bullets so that the guards may chase them off screen and out of your hair.
Prison Sniper is a well-designed simple game. The challenge is not huge, but it does provide quite a few minutes of easy, no-think entertainment. As soon as the game starts to get easy, more prisoners rush out and overwhelm your defenses! With that, the game becomes more challenging and just begs to you to play.
