Ragdoll Laser Dodge Game Review

In this game, the goal, as usual, is simple enough. Survival is key to racking up points, but do not expect an easy time with it. Fraught with challenge, this game promise to keep you clicking the “Retry” button again and again, despite that doctoral thesis due tomorrow.
In Ragdoll Laser Dodge, I am sure you can guess what the objective is. For those of you still scratching your heads, you must dodge the lasers that fall from the top of the game screen. Certain lasers fall faster than the rest; yellow falls the slowest and green tumbles down faster than you do after a few beers.
There are two methods to choose from when playing Ragdoll Laser Dodge, both revolving around how you control the Ragdoll that must dodge all the lasers. The first mode—and in this reviewer’s eyes, the easiest—is Mouse Mode. Simply use the mouse to drag the doll out of harm’s way. The second option, Keyboard Mode, pairs you with your arrow keys in your quest to dominate Ragdoll Laser Dodge. This mode is considerably harder to use than the mouse button for the following reasons: there is no fluid control like the mouse offers, movements are slower, and it simply is not as easy to move the doll with.
Falling at varying speeds, the lasers are copious and absolutely everywhere. Scattered among them are three different special effects that you can catch to boost your abilities. There is a score multiplier: that increases the amount of points you gather (which you acquire by simply dodging the lasers: points are determined by how long you survive). Second, you can gain a shield generator that puts a protective bubble around your Ragdoll. Finally, there is a time power-up that slows the fall of the lasers (as well as the Ragdoll’s movement!) down considerably.
Ragdoll Laser Dodge is not winning any video game awards any time soon. However, the challenge of this simple game cannot be overlooked. Getting the Ragdoll around the lasers will be a long-standing challenge for you. So pick up the glove that StickMan Games has thrown down and start playing.
