Assassinator Stickman Game Review

“The Assassinator” is not much of a challenge, but it passes a few minutes pretty quickly. The game is easy and quick, and that is all that matters in the world of mindless entertainment, I suppose. If you are looking for something to truly test your skill or a game that will keep you occupied for a longer period of time, move along; this is not the game you are looking for. (Learned that trick from Ben/Obi-Wan Kenobi. Whatcha think?)
This Assassin simply likes to Kill
“The Assassinator” gives you a rifle and a series of missions that you must carry out for the never-seen man who employs you. It seems as though this man simply hates people. He isn’t someone you want to hang out with for awhile because it seems he just wants everyone dead. Your mission is to kill whomever he tells you to exterminate. Do not ask questions; do not hesitate with your trigger finger. You get money as a reward, though there is not a practical purpose or use for it in game.
Your psychotic and easily upset boss gives you shows you the Stick you must shoot. After the “briefing” of sorts, you are thrust into the level. There is never just one Stick in the levels; you always need to hunt for the one you need to target. Often, there are similar looking ones, but there are no penalties for shooting the wrong figure except for needing to restart the level.
Often times, the missions have humorous premises
In one you need to kill a kid who “pee’d in [the boss’s] garden.” (Of course, this raises countless ethics issues, but this is a Stickman game, after all. Unless your heart bleeds blue liberality, you can keep playing.) Another target was chosen for elimination because they are someone the boss’s sister is hanging out with that he does not know. Whatever his reasons, all you need to do is to kill the target and get your reward.
The Assassinator is not a long, challenging, or particularly interesting game. If you need to kill a few minutes between dates (we all know that is not reason you will need to kill a few minutes), between take-out orders (much more likely), or classes, this game will serve you well. However, do not expect a brain workout.
